Romans 10:14-15 (Mark Hong)

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’”
- Romans 10:14-15 -

Paul raised questions of saving grace upon the souls. How will they hear? How can they believe? How can they get to understand about Jesus… unless someone tells them (v 14)? It may only take a ‘word about Christ’ for others to get the message (v 17). So are we willing to speak of him? (From Encounter with God).

Recently, a missionary couple visited my family from M nation. There is an interesting connection between this couple and me. In my senior year of college (Spring of 1977), I met a freshman boy in the city bus and shared the gospel. Finally, in the fall of that year, we started to meet regularly and we studied the book of Romans. He received the gospel deeply and started to grow in Christ as a student leader. He later served the gospel work in Korea University and ministered this young man who is now a missionary in M nation. I am really humbled, seeing God's great work in our humble work of evangelism. May God use me and you continually to reach precious souls even today. Glory to God. Hallelujah!

Prayer: Gracious God, I am grateful your grace is greater than my sin. Make me an ambassador of this Good News to my neighbors and to the world.
